Country Crossroads Counseling

Hello! I’m Jaime Roach. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Thank you for taking the time to visit the website and learn more about the therapists/counselors here at Country Crossroads Counseling.

 

I live with my husband in rural Cass County on a 15 acre farm with cows, chickens, barn cats, house dogs, a pony, and a mini donkey. I am a Christian, and my husband and I serve in a local church where we have been members for over 25 years. My faith and my relationship with Jesus Christ is very important to me.

 

My social work journey began as a foster parent in 2008. In 2010, I began pursuing my degree and I graduated from University of Central Missouri in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. In 2017, I graduated from University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) with my Master’s of Social Work. In 2024, I completed the supervision licensure requirements for LCSW. I have worked with youth in some capacity for the past 22 years in church ministries, as a foster parent, in residential youth care, as a foster care case manager, in community behavioral health as a community support specialist, and as a school based therapist. 

 

My primary experience is working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety and depression. I have a person-centered and strengths based approach, and incorporate ways of coping through modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and talk therapy. I am currently working to become certified in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I believe the individual is the expert and I am here to support the individual through their journey.
